Today we worked on our booklet, descriptive paragraphs and went over exercise beside descriptive paragraphs.
Why
We are working in our booklet so we can improve in making a paragraph which will also help in our future writing paragraph or an essay.
Homework
Finish our lit circle group and self 2 goals/2 stars and reflection by tomorrow!
Brainstorm, outline and draft a paragraph by tomorrow
Highlight trasition words,descriptive words and underline topic sentence by tomorrow
Finish outlines if not done yet by tomorrow

Hey Ashley, nice job on your learning blog. This was a really helpful post for homework reminders. However, your post is missing a few parts! You need to add a separate section for Reflections and Connections (outside of Hum 8). It would also be nice to see you expand a little bit on your ideas. Be a little more detailed, and try to talk more about why we worked on these things. But other than that, great job with this post! It was really helpful for me, because I almost forgot about the two comments on the blog in my learning blog! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteLaura made some good suggestions for how to improve your learning blog posts and I agree with her that further elaboration would be useful. Try to remember that you are writing for an audience that is not in our class. Ask yourself if they would understand what "paragraph booklet" involves ? What skills in particular were you focussing on in your "booklet"? Hopefully these suggestions and questions are helpful. If you like, you may copy and paste your post into a new one titled "revised" so that we can see your improvements.
